This policy explains what personal data UniqueScores ("we") processes when you use uniquescores.com and our apps, why, and your rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Last updated 2026-10-18.
The controller is UniqueScores, operated from Portugal. Contact us through the Contact page (topic "Privacy").
Your favourite leagues, teams and players, notification preferences, followed matches and the cookie-notice choice are kept in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device unless you turn on notifications (below). You can clear them at any time in your browser settings.
If you enable notifications, your browser gives us a push subscription (an address at your browser vendor's push service, such as Google, Apple or Mozilla, plus encryption keys). We store it on our server together with the teams and players you follow and your alert preferences, so we can tell you when they play. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Turning notifications off deletes the subscription from our server; unused subscriptions are deleted automatically when the push service reports them as expired.
When you write to us we keep your name, email address, message and IP address to answer you and to protect the form from abuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in replying and preventing spam (Art. 6(1)(f)). We keep messages for up to 24 months.
Like any website, our servers process your IP address to deliver pages. Technical error logs may contain IP addresses and are kept for at most 30 days. Hosting: OVHcloud (OVH SAS), data centre in Gravelines, France (European Union).
Team logos, player photos and flags are loaded directly from the sports data providers' image servers, which receive your IP address when your browser fetches them. Match highlights are embedded from YouTube (youtube-nocookie.com) and only load when you press play; YouTube's privacy policy then applies.
UniqueScores is a general-audience sports site and does not knowingly collect data from children under 16.
We will update this page if our practices change and show the date of the last update at the top.
